Special Offer: Experience Alice Cooper’s Halloween Horror

On July 30, 2012 by Jonathan Bright

It was announced last week that rock horror legend Alice Cooper is to mastermind Universal Orlando Resort’s award-winning Halloween Horror Nights spectacular. And just so you can get your foot in the door, Florida Holidays has a devilishly delicious hotel offer to coincide.

In a twist that will delight fans of the genre, the show promises to bring to life the descent into hellish madness as envisioned by the Cooper character ‘Steven’, that dominated the stories of his debut solo album. It will feature a 3-D haunted maze – “Alice Cooper – Welcome to My Nightmare” – in which the singer’s visions of an unending darkness and eternal maniacal torment are revealed.

Alice Cooper said: “[I’m] excited to see Universal Orlando Resort’s maze, ‘Alice Cooper – Welcome To My Nightmare.’ Let’s see if they can scare me!”

The ride promises cutting edge 3-D technology specially developed for this hotly anticipated event, as well as completely immersive sets and the customary ‘scareactors’ lining the streets of Universal outside.

Trying not to reveal too much, Jim Timon, Senior Vice President of Entertainment at Universal Orlando Resort, said: “There are few as coolly demented as Alice Cooper. He’s a cult classic icon and his partnership on the ‘Alice Cooper – Welcome to My Nightmare’ maze will bring something completely new and unexpected to our Halloween Horror Nights fans.”

Judging by the Halloween Horror Nights’ illustrious 20-year track record, this will be their biggest ever and is sure not to disappoint horror fans. And Florida Holidays has a demonically delicious deal:
